STC BAND's very first Production in the making!

Story Comm: During the CCA fair, we'll be performing an item, which includes a storyline which ties in sound effects and melodies made by different instruments as a form of introducing these instruments we have in the band! The ensemble which consists of section representatives will showcase it on the CCA fair day on 9th Jan. The story comm will plan out and decide the storyline of STCband's very first production=D

Display Board Comm: We'll be making a display board which will showcase STCband Life and those moments we've shared together. The board will include pictures and decorations on it which will most probably be put up on the band notice board outside the band room after the fair. If pictures are needed do get it from the band mates!

Brochures Comm: These brochures will be issued to all sec ones to bring home with them. Most probably, they'll be showing it to their parents=X so the content in this brochure needs to be rich and also be picture-filled. Since they are bringing these brochures home, it'll be great if we could make them look more unlike brochures but smth unique that is able to hold all the info n pics at the same time.

Souvenirs Comm: You'll be preparing the souvenirs that will be given to all the sec ones to make them "remember" visiting the band booth as much as possible and putting band as one of their choices. Also, making these souvenirs look unique and different from other CCAs' will be a challenge!

Most prefably, since there's optional prac on tues, we may need to meet to do up all that's needed. However, for the Story Comm, it needs to be done by monday so that we'll be able to make further changes required and hence we can let those who are in charged of introducing their instruments on the CCA fair practise together on tues itself.

Now that you've read through all the different committees, and know what is required for each comm, make your choice wisely. Know what's best for you and go for it, follow what's ideal for urself and inform ur SLs immediately after making your choice!=D Rem!

Our final goal is into attracting the most no. of sec ones into joining band alrite!!

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Band Pracs for 2009 are on Mondays and Thursdays, SI prac on Wednesdays. Band room will also be opened on Tuesdays for Optional Prac. Do try all ways n means to come for tuesday's practice too!
